This results in millions of gallons of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.ccnr.org\/high-level-radioactive-liquid-waste-tanks\/\">high-level radioactive liquid wastes<\/a>\u00a0which &#8212; unless cooled &#8212; would overheat and contaminate the environment.
